The Asus GT-AX6000 is a dual-band gaming router built around WiFi 6. Its total wireless speed reaches 6000 Mbps.
The router combines a 2.4 GHz band at 1148 Mbps with a 5 GHz band at 4800 Mbps. This provides enough bandwidth for multiple 4K streams and online gaming simultaneously. However, the wired Gigabit ports (up to 1 Gbps) create a bottleneck for the maximum wireless speed – a cable connection will not reach the full 6000 Mbps.
Two 2.5 Gigabit LAN ports prioritise gaming traffic and support WAN aggregation. A 2.0 GHz quad-core CPU handles network traffic. With four external antennas and RangeBoost Plus technology, the router extends its coverage.
The GT-AX6000 supports AiMesh. This means you can expand your network with compatible Asus routers to create a mesh network without dead zones. Security is handled by WPA3, and parental controls and a guest network are built-in.
