ASUS TUF Gaming B760-Plus WIFI: a solid foundation for your Intel PC

If you're building a gaming PC with an Intel Core processor from the 12th, 13th or 14th generation, this ATX board gives you a solid base. The LGA 1700 socket and Intel B760 chipset work with DDR5 memory — four slots, up to 192 GB. That's plenty for demanding games and multitasking. This board isn't for those who want a compact system: ATX requires a roomy case.

In terms of connectivity, it's complete: Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.2 are built in, plus a 2.5 Gigabit LAN port for wired networking. Three M.2 slots for fast SSDs and four SATA ports for extra storage. On the back, you'll find USB 3.2 Gen 2 (10 Gbit/s), a DisplayPort and HDMI for video. The Realtek 7.1 audio delivers surround without a separate sound card.

What to look out for with this motherboard

The PCIe 5.0 x16 slot is ready for the latest graphics cards; the second x16 slot runs at PCIe 3.0. For future expansion: four fan headers (both 3-pin and 4-pin) and onboard LED lighting. The board is built to last — standard connectors and solid construction. If you're looking for an entry-level model or don't need DDR5, you'd be better off with a B760 board with DDR4. This is a choice for those who want to look ahead.
