The pile grew, and increasingly there were returns with absolutely nothing wrong. The gap between label and reality became too big to ignore. That's how Secondbay started: every returned product is opened, tested for functionality, and honestly assessed. What doesn't meet our standards doesn't get sold — regardless of the return label.

Do I get warranty on returned products?

All returned products at Secondbay come with 2-year legal warranty — exactly like new products. This is legally required in Belgium, regardless of whether the product is new or returned. Additionally, you have a 14-day return policy. Not satisfied? Full refund.

How much can I save with return deals?

Savings range from 30% to 70% compared to the new price, depending on the condition. A product in "like new" condition has a smaller discount than one with visible signs of use. For every item, we show the original price — the savings are always transparent.

What do the different product conditions mean?

Every product is individually assessed on three levels:

  • New: Unopened, in original packaging
  • Like new: Opened but without visible signs of use
  • Good: Light signs of use, fully functional

What doesn't meet this standard doesn't go up for sale. Sometimes that's a shame — but disappointing a customer is worse. We photograph every product so the condition is clear upfront.
