MasterLock L1200 Fire Safe – 30 Minutes Protection

The MasterLock L1200 is a fire-resistant document safe that protects its contents for 30 minutes at temperatures up to 843°C. That sounds impressive – and it is certified protection (UL/ETL). But it helps to understand what those 30 minutes actually mean. In a fire, the safe seals itself shut due to the heat. After that, it has to be forced open.
