MasterLock L1200 – fireproof document safe for home use
The MasterLock L1200 protects papers, photos and digital media such as USB sticks against fire and extinguishing water. The safe is UL/ETL-certified for 30 minutes of fire resistance up to 843°C.
In a fire, the safe seals itself hermetically due to the heat – the contents remain protected, but the safe must then be forced open. MasterLock replaces it free of charge (lifetime warranty). That's the trade-off: maximum protection, but single use. The safe weighs 6 kg and has a capacity of 5 litres – compact enough for a desk or cupboard.
The L1200 locks with a key (two supplied). The integrated handle makes it easy to move. External dimensions: 15.6 x 36.5 x 28.4 cm. Internal: 8.9 x 30.5 x 19.1 cm – enough for an A4 folder or a small hard drive.
