The Philips Moisture Protect HP8280/00 measures hair temperature during drying using infrared technology and adjusts the heat accordingly. The goal: to preserve the natural moisture balance.
The MoistureProtect sensor continuously measures the temperature of the hair. Once it's dry, the hair dryer automatically switches to a lower setting. This prevents overheating. The downside: you have to trust the sensor – manual switching isn't necessary, but it's not possible either. The 2300W DC motor delivers a maximum airflow of 120 km/h. Plenty of power for thick or long hair.
Six speed and heat settings give you control over drying intensity. The Cool Shot button sets your style after styling with cool air. The ionic conditioner neutralises static electricity – less frizz, more shine. The set comes with a diffuser, handy for curly or volume-seeking hair. The cord is 2.5 metres long, the handle doesn't fold.
