The DiamondClean 9000 is a sonic toothbrush that measures your brushing pressure and connects via Bluetooth to the Sonicare app. Four modes and three intensities give you control over your clean.
The brush operates at 62,000 brush strokes per minute – sonic, not rotating. That means the bristles vibrate at a frequency that drives fluid between teeth. The included A3 Premium all-in-one brush head has bristles at a specific angle with triangular tips, targeting plaque and stains. But sonic brushing feels different to a rotating brush: less scrubbing, more vibrating. The built-in pressure sensor warns you with a vibration and a purple light ring if you're brushing too hard – a signal that, according to the manufacturer, helps 7 out of 10 users brush more gently.
The four modes (Clean, White+, Gum Health, Deep Clean+) and three intensities (Low, Medium, High) are adjustable via the handle. BrushSync technology detects which brush head you're using and automatically sets the appropriate mode. The app provides a progress report and shows a 3D mouth map of the areas you're missing. The battery lasts 14 days with normal use – charging is done via the charging glass or the USB travel case.
