The 12 mm speakers deliver a sound with an emphasis on the low end. The active noise cancellation is adjustable – you decide how much ambient sound to let in. With ANC on, the battery lasts 5.5 hours. Turn it off, and that extends to 31 hours combined with the charging case.

Three sizes of oval ear tips and pressure relief vents ensure a comfortable fit. The wireless charging case weighs 45.1 grams, the earbuds themselves 7 grams each. The connection range is up to 10 metres.

The Jabra Elite 85t is built around adjustable active noise cancellation – and that defines its character. A slider lets you fine-tune the level of isolation, from near silence to a fully open listening experience. This sets it apart from most earbuds, which typically offer only an on/off switch. Six built-in microphones handle call clarity, while the 12 mm drivers are tuned for a powerful bass response.

That adjustable ANC puts you in control. You can dial in just enough ambient sound to stay aware in a busy street or office. The six microphones are optimized for voice pickup on calls. The 12 mm drivers are relatively large for true wireless earbuds, which generally contributes to a fuller, bass-forward sound. Controls remain responsive up to 10 metres from your device.

Wireless charging for the case is a welcome convenience. The oval fit is a comfort-focused choice, though it won't suit every ear shape—making the three included tip sizes crucial. These are for listeners who want to manage their environment, not block it out completely. They work with Amazon Alexa, Siri, and Google Assistant.
